A full time teaching staff is available, and a number of options are offered
in NDE training and certification, including radiation safety. We offer Level I, Level II, and Level
III instruction in all disciplines. NDE courses are designed to satisfy the instruction requirements of
SNT-TC-1A, or your individual Q.A/Q.C programs. Available courses include standard ILLINOIS TESTING SERVICES,
INC programs, or curricula specially designed to fit your specific needs. Training is available either at
our Schaumburg facility, or at a location of your choosing.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION: Our 24 hour course is structured to meet
the requirements for ASNT certification. Both portable field and static high-volume laboratory equipment
is available for hands-on training.
LIQUID PENETRANT TESTING: Course includes 16 hours
and satisfies ASNT requirements for classroom training.
ULTRASONIC TESTING: 40 hour Level I (basics) and
40 hour Level II (weld testing) courses include both theory and practical training
to prepare employees for ASNT certification.
RADIATION SAFETY: Designed to meet NRC and
IEMA requirements for X-RAY and GAMMA radiation safety. Includes practical situation experiences, where students
must demonstrate their ability to work safely with X-RAY and GAMMA radiation sources. This is
a 40 hour course.
RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION: A practical course specifically designed
to your application, the 40 hour interpretation class addresses the critical aspects
of interpreting and dispositioning radiographic film results.
RADIOGRAPHIC TECHNICIAN: Radiographer and trainee
courses are both 40 hours long, and prepare a student for ASNT certification.
SPECIAL TOPICS: Courses are available
in pipeline operations, focusing on installation and maintenance for construction/maintenance supervisors,
welders, and inspectors. Advanced NDE training for Level III certification is also offered.
SUPERVISORY
TRAINING: This 4 to 8 class-hour course is for technical and non-technical company officers, superintendents,
foremen, and purchasing agents. It is designed to expose and inform all management
levels on the particulars of each non-destructive test method, their strengths and limitations, testing methods, and the possibilities
of utilizing methods other than those currently in use.
